He decided to backlight a hanging marble jali panel to create an elegant and sophisticated statement in light and stone.Manufacture: First, a solid sheet of marble is hand carved into a curved, gently billowing panel. Pierced jali tracery work is then hand carved into the surface, through which light and air pass with ease.
