Offered are a beautiful pair of large mid 1800’s covered casseroles. They have great detail, are footed and have wonderful … more Offered are a beautiful pair of large mid 1800’s covered casseroles. They have great detail, are footed and have wonderful handles and high domed lids. They have an incised makers’ mark which is a W with two dots above it, I have no idea who that is. They measure 12″ handle to handle and are 7″ to the top of the lid and are in very good condition for their age. There is a handle repair on one of the lids, a small chip on the underside of one of the casseroles and very minor hairlines and some paint missing on the edges. Overall, they make a great presentation! less
