Though unsigned, the glass shades are clearly the work of Degué, and the excellence of the wrought iron holders lends further support to that claim. Over the years I’ve had at least three (signed) chandeliers with this exact shade.I’ve had the metal replated in a period-appropriate nickel finish (my favorite) and antique-patinated them to avoid that “born yesterday” look.They’re outfitted with American standard-based sockets, and there’s plenty of room for whatever size bulb you want to employ – they project five and a half inches from the wall at the top! You can have as much or little light from these as you like.They’re easy to install as you can see from the picture taken of the inside. Just two screws through that bar across the back and voila! “Jewelry for the home.”Measurements: about 9 inches high, 8 ½ wide, 5 ½ deep. less
