Victorian papier-mâché tilt-top tea table. The oval shaped table has an elegant scalloped edge with the focal point being a hand painted portrait of two beloved pets. The top features inlaid abalone and mother of pearl shells with gold painted accents and intricate scrolls that cover the top down to the base. The turned column connects to a heavily carved based adorned with gold decoration and 3 protruding feet. It is constructed of wood with a black lacquer. There is a number 16 underneath the table top but no signature. less
