We nevertheless know that it was certainly during their wedding trip that Adrien Audoux, from Franche-Comté, and Frida Minnet, from Switzerland, decided to install their business in Cannes in 1929.In the 1950s, the company, better known as “Le Doux Minet” and which takes a black kitten as a symbol, invented a new style of furniture that will make their reputation and whose building, often in oak or beech, is entirely sheathed in RaphiaIt is interesting to note that the Audoux-Minnet house had no resellers and that only their point of sale in Golfe-Juan offered their furniture.The company closed its doors definitively in the 1990s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
