This early edition was made … more Rare large wall shelving system in oak and pinewood designed by Børge Mogensen in 1956. This early edition was made at cabinetmaker Erhard Rasmussen before the production was taken over by Fredericia Stolefabrik. The shelves are made of solid pitch pine while the wall mount is made of solid oakwood. This is a very elegant and space saving system and very typical typical of Børge Mogensen’s functional and beautiful design. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
