It features an iconic photographic image of New York City Street Life originally created by Klein in 1955.Willian Klein ( B. 1928 ) is an American born French photographer and filmmaker of a Jewish background. He is recognized for his ironic approach to both media and his extensive use of unusual photographic techniques in the context of photojournalism and fashion photography. Originally trained as a painter under Fernand Leger. He has achieved worldwide fame as a fashion photographer and for his photo essays on various international cities, as well he is a director of feature films, documentaries and television commercials.Klein’s work was considered revolutionary in its time for its ambivalent and ironic approach to the world of fashion, and for its uncompromising rejection of the then prevailing rules of photography, and for its extensive use of wide angle and telephoto lenses, natural lighting and motion blur. Along with Robert Frank, he is considered among the fathers of Street Photography. Klein’s long and prolific career has earned him many international awards. he is considered to be among the most influential photographers worldwide.The rare out of print lithograph photo print framed French poster measures 32 1/4″ W X 24″ H X 1 3/8″ D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte brushed finish dark charcoal gray metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.It is in excellent ” like new ” condition. The poster print is in excellent ” like new ” very clean vintage condition with light signs of handling. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed.
