It features a monograph survey of the artworks of the artist Paul Klee, with compelling accompanied text authored by Columbia University professor of art history Robert Fisher, edited by Theodore Reff.Paul Klee ( 1879 – 1940 ) The Swiss born Modernist artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of The Twentieth Century. Klee was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. His work reflects the ideas of Symbolism, Expressionism, Cubism, as well the simplicity of The Bauhaus designs. Artworks by Klee are included in the collections of many of the world’s most prestigious museums. It features 91 lithograph print color plates, list of plates, and an artist chronology.It is in excellent clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and very light minor wear to the dust jacket.
